Mountlake Terrace High, one of five high schools in the Edmonds School District,
serves approximately 1,600 students in grades 9 through 12.
Our Goals Include:
- Math — Enable students to improve in math skills and applications, especially in
number sense, algebraic sense, and probability/statistics.
- Reading & Writing — Focus on improving writing across the curriculum in all classes, for
all purposes, and improving reading literacy by implementing additional reading comprehension strategies.
Our Celebrations Include:
- Percentage of 10th-graders meeting standard on the 2007 Washington Assessment of Student Learning:
- Reading: 82.7%
- Math: 48.3%
- Writing: 88.5%
- Science: 34.6%
