Lynnwood High, one of five high schools in the Edmonds School District, serves nearly 1,500 students in grades 9 through 12.

Our Goals Include:

  • Math — Improve student learning in mathematical thinking; especially in measurement and problem solving/logical reasoning.
  • Reading & Writing — Continue to improve students’ skills in the two subsets of literacy — reading both literary and informational texts and writing both informational and persuasive pieces.

Our Celebrations Include:

  • Percentage of 10th-graders meeting standard on the 2007 Washington Assessment of Student Learning:
    • Reading: 84.2%
    • Math: 50.1%
    • Writing: 88.5%
    • Science: 29.3%

  • In 2006-07, 13 current and former Lynnwood High students were designated AP Scholars by the College Board, recognizing their exceptional achievement on the college-level Advanced Placement exams.
