Woodway Elementary, one of the 21 elementary schools in the Edmonds School District,
serves approximately 200 students in grades K through 6.
Our Goals Include:
- Math — At least 60 minutes of math time daily will be scheduled by classroom teachers, focusing on geometry,
number sense, and problem-solving.
- Reading & Writing — Focus on increasing students’ skills in fluency and comprehension strategies
at all grade levels, while also focusing class lessons on analyzing and interpreting informational and literary text.
Our Celebrations Include:
- Percentage of fourth-graders meeting standard on the 2007 Washington Assessment of Student Learning:
- Reading: 52.2%
- Math: 43.5%
- Writing: 52.2%
