Seaview Elementary, one of the 21 elementary schools in the Edmonds School District,
serves more than 400 students in grades K through 6.
Our Goals Include:
- Math — Enrich our understanding and implement proven math teaching techniques, focusing
on increasing proficiency in mathematical number sense, measurement, and problem solving.
- Reading & Writing — Enhance students’ confidence through Readers’ and Writers’ Workshops, developing
common vocabulary and practicing the necessary skills within the workshop structure to continue to build upon recent
student success on the Washington Assessment of Student Learning.
Our Celebrations Include:
- Percentage of fourth-graders meeting standard on the 2007 Washington Assessment of Student Learning:
- Reading: 85.4%
- Math: 66.0%
- Writing: 75.0%
