Meadowdale Elementary, one of the 21 elementary schools in the Edmonds School District,
serves nearly 500 students in grades K through 6.
Our Goals Include:
- Math — Improve student achievement in math communication and problem-solving skills through
thinking strategies common to reading and writing.
- Reading & Writing — Expand use of comprehension strategies by all students by developing a
school-wide common instructional practice focused on non-fiction reading and writing.
Our Celebrations Include:
- Percentage of fourth-graders meeting standard on the 2007 Washington Assessment of Student Learning:
- Reading: 82.1%
- Math: 67.3%
- Writing: 67.3%
