Lynndale Elementary, one of the 21 elementary schools in the Edmonds School District,
serves more than 400 students in grades K through 6.
Our Goals Include:
- Math — Improve students’ ability to reason, solve problems, and communicate results by focusing
on their computational skills and number sense.
- Reading & Writing — Enable students to improve their reading skills across the curriculum,
especially in non-fiction materials.
Our Celebrations Include:
- Percentage of fourth-graders meeting standard on the 2007 Washington Assessment of Student Learning:
- Reading: 90.0%
- Math: 68.3%
- Writing: 63.3%

- Lynndale’s 32 after-school classes and clubs served more than 325 students in the 2006-07 school year, thanks to
support from the Lynndale PTA, the Hubbard Foundation, the McNaughton Foundation, the Edmonds Public Education
Foundation, the Boeing Corporation, and our district and school staff.
