Hilltop Elementary, one of the 21 elementary schools in the Edmonds School District,
serves more than 500 students in grades K through 6.
Our Goals Include:
- Math — Connect Collaborative Literacy Project strategies to math problem solving and improve
family involvement in students’ learning by providing families with resources and tools to use at home.
- Reading & Writing — Work with students to become thoughtful, active, proficient readers and
writers who are aware of their own thinking as they read and express ideas in writing.
Our Celebrations Include:
- Percentage of fourth-graders meeting standard on the 2007 Washington Assessment of Student Learning:
- Reading: 93.0%
- Math: 78.9%
- Writing: 81.7%

- Hilltop has created the Kathy Peterson Outdoor School Scholarship Fund in honor of Kathy Peterson, who
was a food service employee and loved Outdoor School, in an effort to support families who need financial
