Edmonds Elementary, one of the 21 elementary schools in the Edmonds School District,
serves about 320 students in grades K through 6.
Our Goals Include:
- Math — Plan and hold a Parent & Family Math Night with help from PTA to focus on parent
at-home support, and to better inform parents of why we do what we do, and how they can help us.
- Reading & Writing — Establish a school-wide expectation for nightly reading (20 minutes for
primary grades, 30 minutes for intermediate) and provide tips for helping parents establish this routine.
Our Celebrations Include:
- Percentage of fourth-graders meeting standard on the 2007 Washington Assessment of Student Learning:
- Reading: 81.8%
- Math: 54.5%
- Writing: 60.6%
For more scores, please visit the Office of the Superintendent of Public Instruction's website.
- Edmonds’ two parent groups, PTA and STARS (Supporting the Teaching of Arts, Reading and Science)
both provide valuable support to our school.
