Cedar Valley Community School

Cedar Valley Community School, one of the 21 elementary schools in the Edmonds School District, serves nearly 450 students in grades K through 6.

Our Goals Include:

• Math — Support student growth in number sense and problem-solving to increase achievement.
• Reading & Writing — Implement the workshop model in our classrooms, to support students’ accuracy, fluency, and comprehension.

Our Celebrations Include:

• Percentage of fourth-graders meeting standard on the 2007 Washington Assessment of Student Learning:
  • Reading: 64.4%
  • Math: 40.7%
