Brier Elementary, one of the 21 elementary schools in the Edmonds School District,
serves nearly 400 students in grades K through 6.
Our Goals Include:
- Math — Improve students’ ability to reason and solve problems as well as improving oral
and writ-ten communication by justifying solutions and showing support for conclusions.
- Reading & Writing — Enable students to read with higher levels of accuracy and fluency, improve
their ability to make meaning out of what they are reading, and write effectively in a variety of genres.
Our Celebrations Include:
- Percentage of fourth-graders meeting standard on the 2007 Washington Assessment of Student Learning:
- Reading: 72.4%
- Math: 51.7%
- Writing: 56.9%
