Special Off-Campus Pass

A.

There is a special pass available for students with a shortened schedule at MTHS, either a late start or early dismissal.. Some examples are: Running Start, Intra-District classes and being ahead of schedule on credits needed for graduation. These are available at the beginning of each trimester. Sign up for in the attendance office.

B.

Special permission may be granted to students of 11th & 12th grade standing who find themselves with an Open Period attached to a lunch. This will occasionally happen due to scheduling problems. Applications are available in the attendance office during lunch. Students wishing to apply for this special pass must meet the following criteria:

1.    The student is an 11th or 12th grader making appropriate progress towards graduation.

2.    The student must have the Open Period attached to a lunch period.

3.    The student may drive off campus, however, he/she may Never take any student (s) with them in a car unless the other students has an appropriate pass.

4.     The pass is only valid for the current trimester. A new application must be completed for each succeeding trimester.

5.     Failure to abide by these conditions will result in the immediate forfeiture of the pass and its privileges.

C.

There is also a senior privilege pass available through Sue VanSenus. Students may find Ms. VanSenus during lunch.
