Senior Privilege Passes

MTHS is a closed campus. Students who have a need to leave campus during the school day on a regular basis must have parent and administrative permission to do so. This pass is for seniors (with parking permits only) to drive off campus alone during lunch. Seniors without a parking permit will be issued a sticker put on their id card for walking off privilege. These privilege passes may be revoked anytime by parent request and/or by violation of the policy.

PASS REQUIREMENTS:

A current student ID card or during the 1st week only of school a copy of your class schedule.

Senior is on track to graduate.

Senior passed all classes the previous trimester/semester.

Senior has no more than 3 unexcused period absences in the previous quarter or 6 unexcused period absences in the previous semester.

Senior has no fines or disciplinary offenses.

A signed Senior Privilege form.

Seniors are responsible for getting signatures from their counselor and parent on the application before turning it into the attendance office. The passes will be available in 1-2 days.

Seniors must follow school rules.

Seniors must report back to school on time after lunch.

Additional Pass Requirements

Senior has a parking permit.

Seniors may not take other students with them.

Walk off pass-Sticker will be put on your student id

Seniors using the walk off pass are not allowed to loiter on 44th street or in the adjacent

neighborhoods. Students leaving campus must use the front doors of the school and head to 44th Ave W. Using any other exit or pathway will be considered an off-campus violation and will result in the loss of the pass. A new Off-Campus sticker will be required at the beginning of each semester.
