Junior Off Campus Pass

MTHS is a closed campus. Students who have a need to leave campus during the school day on a regular basis must have parent and administrative permission to do so. Juniors will have a sticker put on their student id card for walking off privilege. This privilege may be revoked anytime by parent request and/or by violation of the policy.

PASS REQUIREMENTS:

A current student ID card or during the 1st week only of school a copy of your class schedule.

Junior is on track to graduate.

Junior passed all classes the previous semester.

Junior has no more than 3 unexcused period absences in the previous quarter or 6 unexcused period absences in the previous semester.

Junior has no fines or disciplinary offenses.

A signed Junior Off Campus Pass request form.

A new Off-Campus sticker will be required at the beginning of each semester.

Eligibility for passes may be checked every quarter. NO MORE THAN 3 UNEXCUSED ABSENCES IN FIRST QUARTER!

Juniors are responsible for getting signatures from their counselor and parent on the application before turning it into the attendance office.

Juniors must follow school rules.

Juniors must report back to school on time after lunch.

Juniors using the walk off pass are not allowed to loiter on 44th street or in adjacent

neighborhoods. Students leaving campus must use the front doors of the school and head to 44th Ave W. Using any other exit or pathway will be considered an off-campus violation and will result in the loss of the pass.
