In the top right corner of the Saturday Morning Breakfast Cereal home page is a humorous and slightly random picture from variations of Zach Weiner’s (the artist) life.

Saturday Morning Breakfast Cereal is a single-panel web comic by Zach Weiner. The humor often comes from leading the reader to think they understand the situation when they look at the picture, but then throwing them off with a punch-line caption underneath or a obvious politically incorrect joke made obvious by a funny illustration.

Navigation for the SMBC web site

The navigation in SMBC is quite simply split into a user friendly tool bar that appears to be hand drawn like much of the SMBC web site.

  • The Previous and Next comic button [represented with short arrows] allow the reader to skip to the comic that was either made before of after the one in show.
  • The First comic button [represented by a long left arrow] allows the reader to jump back to the first comic made.
  • The Today's comic button allows the reader to view the most recently produced comic.
  • The Random button works because this is a single panel web comic. Like many single panel comics, there are no recurring characters so going to a "random" comic can not ruin the plot.
