About Us

Welcome to our FIRST Robotics web site. We are the Mountlake Terrace High School Robotics team. FIRST is a multi-nationally recognized competition which encourages students to use science and mathematics in their daily lives. 
On Saturday, January 6, 2007, an announcement is sent out via-NASA satellite to all of the teams involved in FIRST Robotics. This annual kick-off event is the day that our challenge for the competition is revealed. 
Next is time to build...after we receive the specifications, we have six weeks to design, program, and build our robot. The Northwest Regional takes place in Portland, Oregon from March 1- March 3, 2007.
