In his 10th season at the head coach here at Terrace and 23rd season overall as a coach here. A former Terrace team captain and 1987 graduate of MTHS, Nalin earned his B.A. in Business Technology from Central Washington and his MAT from Grand Canyon University. Nalin has been teaching at MTHS for 14 years and lists former MTHS teacher Bruce Beaman and head basketball coach Roger Ottmar as influential people in his teaching/coaching career. Nalin’s most memorable moment was being a part of the undefeated 2000 Terrace team that won the WESCO and Northwest District titles. Nalin’s family is his father-Vic, mother-Manu, sister-Meera, brother in-law-Ken and nephew-Kiren, and niece-Kaya. Nalin enjoys working out and working in the yard. His goal for the upcoming season is "To see a new group of MTHS student athletes positively represent the community on and off the basketball court. I hope that we can display the leadership, accountability and selflessness that championship teams epitomize." Nalin is the president of the Washington Interscholastic Basketball Coaches Association, board member of  the Washington State Coaches Assocation and President of the Edmonds Education Coaches Association.
