Volunteers and Donations

Lynnwood High School Associated Student Body (ASB) is organizing a Closing Ceremony to say goodbye to the old school and welcome the new school.  The ceremony will include an open house, spaghetti dinner, silent auction, and formal ceremony.  
All proceeds from the auction and dinner will go towards ASB.  
 
ASB is a non profit organization that funds athletics, activities, motivational and spirit assemblies, homecoming, and all other events that benefit students.  Fundraising regulations and budget cuts have lost us over $25,000.00, and is only getting worse.  To compensate, we have had to increase ASB cards to $45, cut clubs and budgets, and limit events.  The district is looking at cutting programs such as golf and swim and C teams, eliminating extra curricular transportation, and raising participation fees to at least $50.  If we continue down this path students will be buying their own uniforms and protective gear, paying $150 just to try out for a sport, there will be no clubs, after school activities, or motivational speakers, and homecoming will be affected.  We, the students, are in dire need of money so that we can experience a fun-filled and educational school atmosphere. We need your help!.

-Open House and Tours: 1-5pm- Includes class reunions in the gym, teacher reunions, and tours

-ASB Fundraising Dinner: 4:30-6:30pm

-Silent Auction: 4:30-6:30 (link silent auction items clean list)

-Closing Celebration: 7:00-8:00pm- Formal celebration to include former and current students, principals, and teachers

Dinner Includes: spaghetti, caesar salad, bread, drink and dessert

Adults: $10.00            Children under 12: $5.00

Who knows how many will show?  We don’t…Reserve your spot now.

There will be a limited amount of spaghetti available.  Presale tickets will guarantee you a meal.  Presale tickets will be available on May 30th at Will Call in the LHS Commons.  The person whose name appears on the bottom of this form will need to pick up the tickets.  All proceeds go to ASB.
 
To guarantee proper credit, order form MUST be postmarked by MAY 21st.
