Certificated Application

Directions for downloading and filling out an application for Certificated employment:

A completed application packet consists of:

  • The application form
  • Copies of unofficial transcripts
  • A copy of a teaching or ESA certificate
    • Explanation of a pending certificate will suffice until the official certificate is received
  • A placement file
    • In lieu of a placement file, applicants may submit three (3) current letters of recommendation
  • A letter individually addressing the seven (7) "Standards for the Teaching Profession"

Applications are screened based on the evidence provided outlining experience and abilities in the seven (7) "Standards for the Teaching Profession." Screening is performed upon receipt of a new applicant file and again any time an applicant submits new or updated information that may change their initial screening placement.

Applicants already on file, and new applicants whose files were received prior to a particular position closing date, will be considered for that position and all future openings in all areas they have indicated they are seeking employment.
