The Edmonds School District is holding an election Tuesday, February 7, 2006, with two important measures on the ballot:

Proposition No. 1: Replacement School Programs and Operation Levy
Proposition No. 2: Capital Construction Bond

The decision to place these measures on the ballot came after extensive study and community input. We conducted several public meetings that shaped the proposal. Following this input, the School Board unanimously moved to place these measures before voters February 7, 2006.

Superintendent Nick Brossoit added, “This is a supportive community and these are important issues. Both of these measures will allow us to continue the work we need to do in our schools. We appreciate the public’s participation in shaping these propositions and encourage people to vote on February 7, 2006.” read more
