Edmonds Elementary is a great place to do research. Here are some of our favorite starting points.
Some of these are subscription based services. Ask librarian for a password bookmark.
Search Engine Suggestions- Use AFTER above
Students remember to use the links above FIRST.
If all the Internet were in one place, finding information would be
much easier. But it isn't, so many students end up searching, and
searching, and searching- instead of finding. Picking the right search
engine comes AFTER you know what you are looking for. What do you want
to know? Why didn't you want to try one of the higher quality paid
databases above?
Search Engine Showdown and
Infopeople have some advice about this. Then try one of these as a second choice.
