It is a state law that schools have  in  writing  or  receive  a  phone  call  as  to  why  a  student is
absent. (No absence or tardy will be excused without a note or a phone call).  The only excusable absences  are  illness,  medical / dental   appointments,   religious  occasions  and  funerals.  The
principal may approve personal reasons (please complete the Request For Excused Absence Form and return to the school office).  Vacations must be approved by the principal two weeks in advance for them to be an excused absence.  Notes for anything other than vacations will only be accepted up to two (2) days after a student returns to class.
 
Tardies will not be excused for oversleeping or missed bus.  Please call 425-431-7374 press #1 to report an absence or tardy, state your child’s name, room number and the reason they will be missing school.
