Helping Students and Families

The counseling department at BTMS has a variety of functions.  Ultimately, we are here to help all students  be successful students and people in the community.  MiddleFamilies school can be a novel experience and a  time of transition for students.  The counselors would like to help ease students into this transition and be able to deal with the many changes they experience at this age. Many students and parents also ask what the counselors do and how they can help their children.  This includes but is not limited to;
  • Individual counseling
  • Group counseling
  • Classroom guidance lessons
  • Scheduling/Selecting classes that help students.
  • Family nights
  • Connecting students/families with community resources
