STUDENT SUPPLY LIST

2012-2013

PLEASE:

  1. Take a minute to write your child’s name in his/her backpack, coat, sweaters, hats, and boots.  Each year we have many unclaimed items left in our lost and found.
  2. Have all supplies here for the first day of school.
  3. Remember that any of these supplies may need to be replaced during the year.
  4. See the end of the list for local locations for good bargains.

 

Kindergarten

 

1          LARGE BACKPACK to take home PAPERS/LARGE PROJECTS

4          boxes of CRAYOLA CRAYONS (boxes of 24 standard size)   

              No Jumbo Size, Fluorescent Colors or 64-count please!

1          pair CHILDREN'S FISKAR SCISSORS (Available at Target or Fred Meyer, etc.)

2          4oz bottles of WHITE ELMER'S GLUE

1          LARGE BOX CRACKERS (for snacks) like Graham, Ritz, Wheat Thins or Pretzels (no saltines, please)

3          containers BABYWIPES (make sure they say “no       

             bleach” or “bleach free”)

1          box KLEENEX

1           box quart size ZIPLOC BAGS – GIRLS ONLY

Grade 1

SPRUCE ELEMENTARY STUDENT SUPPLY LIST

 

Many stores sell spiral notebooks and notebook paper for 17¢ – 25¢ in July.  Watch for sales.  Great bargains on supplies can be found in June and July at stores such as Target, Office Max, Walmart, Office Depot, Staples, Big Lots and Dollar Stores.  Albertsons, Safeway and Fred Meyer and other grocery stores also have weekly deals in July and August on some of the supplies listed.  


 

Reminder: students with life threatening health conditions (allergies, asthma, etc) must meet with the school nurse and have medications at school BEFORE the first day of school. 

 

ALL students that have Life Threatening Conditions and need medications must have the medications & orders in the main office on or before August 23 to guarantee their attendance on the first day of school.

 

Our nurse is available for a limited time in August.  Call 425-431-1070 for an appointment.

 

Incoming 6th Grade students (current 5th grade) must have a tdap booster & at least 1 Varicella shot (or report of having Chicken Pox disease) prior to starting 6th grade.
