iDTech Mini & iDTech Camps
Registration Dates: registration open

Location: UW Bothell, UW Seattle, Bellevue
Open to: Ages 6-18
iDTech Mini offers fun courses in programming, video game design, and robotics with an emphasis on creativity, exploration, and friendship. iDTech Camps are designed for students interested in programming, app development, video game design, robotic engineering, 3d modeling, film making, and photography. 

Project Biotech - Biotech Summer Camps
Registration Dates: Check back in January for 2018 registration dates.
Event Dates: Three Camps during Summer 2018
Location: Shoreline Community College
Open to: Students going into Grades 8-11
Explore the lab skills used in Biotechnology to learn about global and personal health. Check out the programs for Biotechnology Essentials Camp, Biotechnology & Human Health Camp, and Biotechnology and the Environment Camp. 

STEM Camps - Lake Washington Institute of Technology
Registration Dates: Check back in January for 2018 registration dates.

Location: Lake Washington Institute of Technology, Kirkland
Open to: Middle and High School, varies by camp 
Interested in exploring STEM and earning college credit? LWIT has four STEM Camps for YOU! Sign 
up for Alternative Energy/Emerging Tech, Biotech/Microbiology, Chemistry/Enviro Science, or Our Planet. Visit their website for full details and academic prerequisites. 

Edmonds Community College Youth Camps
Registration Dates: Check back in January for 2018 registration dates.

Location: Edmonds Community College Campus 
Open to: Age requirements vary by course
Check out the EdCC's summer camps for coding, 3-D modeling, gaming, app development, animation and more. 

Hour of Code
Registration Dates: ongoing
Event Dates: Classroom dates Dec 4-10, 2017 open to individual users now
Location: online resource
Open to: all students
If you are not participating in Hour of Code in your classroom, you can check it out for yourself and 
try your hand at coding. Tutorials and guidance are provided at website.

BioQuest Academy
Registration Dates:  Check back in January for 2018 registration dates.
Event Dates: Summer 2018
Location: Seattle BioMed, Seattle
Open to: Current Juniors
Work with scientists to learn about and use the authentic research techniques that are helping to 
conquer global health issues.  

Girls Who Code Summer Immersion Program
Registration Dates: open now for clubs. Check back in January for 2018 Summer Immersion registration dates.
Event Dates: Ongoing and Summer 2018
Location: Seattle regional
Open to: Girls in Grades 6-12
Ongoing clubs hosted by libraries and schools. Free summer program, instruction in computer science, 
robotics, web design, and mobile development, includes workshops, field trips, mentorship. 

Museum of Flight – Boeing Academy for STEM Learning 
Registration Dates: open
Event Dates: ongoing
Location: Museum of Flight, Seattle
Open to: Students Grades K-12, programs are grade specific
Explore multiple student workshops, programs, and camps held at the Museum of Flight or off-site to learn about aviation, space, robotics, an engineering.  

Washington Aerospace Scholars
Registration Dates: closes November 3, 2017 for Juniors, closes February 1, 2017 for Sophomores
Event Dates: see website for ongoing program dates
Location: Museum of Flight, Seattle
Open to: High School Junior Program, and Sophomore Program
Note: WAS is a two-part program focused on topics related to the history and future exploration of space by NASA. Phase 1 is a five-month distance learning program, Phase 2 is a six-day residency at the Museum 
of Flight.

UW Nurse Camp 
Registration Dates: Check back in January for 2018 registration dates
Event Dates: Summer 2018 
Location: University of Washington
Open to: Sophomores & Juniors who are 16 years old 
Learn what nursing is all about at this FREE week-long day camp geared toward increasing access and 
opportunities in nursing.  

UW Summer Youth Programs

Open to: Students Grades 1-12
Explore STEM through robotics, computer programming, green design, engineering, and more with 
academically rich day camps, academies, and short courses. 

UW DawgBytes PLUS

Future of Flight – Institute of Flight

Location: Future of Flight, Mukilteo
Open to: Grades 4-12, with some grade specific programs
Learn about flight, modeling, 3-D manufacturing, coding, and aerospace careers in hour-long to week long programs and camps through the Museum of Flight.
