6820 - Reduction in Staff Work Force

In the event the Board adopts a reduced or modified program, those employees who will be retained to implement the district's reduced or modified program and those who will be terminated or adversely affected in employment status, shall be determined as follows:

  1. Employees covered by collective bargaining agreements will be retained, terminated, or adversely affected, according to the layoff provisions contained in the applicable agreement.
  2. Administrators will be retained, terminated, transferred to another supervisory or nonsupervisory position or adversely affected according to provisions contained in the applicable memoranda of understanding.
