Another step closer to a new Lynnwood High
The Edmonds School District is yet another step closer to building a new Lynnwood High School, as
promised to voters with passage of the Capital Construction Bond in February of 2006. The site of the new
school has been secured with a temporary construction fence. The logging contract was awarded to Sierra
Pacific Industries of Mount Vernon, Wash. Logging and milling the timber on the land on the District’s
North Road property, at 18217 North Road will start in mid-March and be completed prior to start of
construction in late May.
Construction bids will be opened in April. The school will be completed and is planned
for occupancy by August 2009. For more information about the project and to view design drawings,
