Students,

With the passage of the Capital Levy, students have access to new technology tools. These tools help students gain access to current information. They help students connect with experts to discuss concepts taught in school and help students demonstrate their learning by creating projects that are dynamic.

           Basic timeline for implementation:
Fall 04- Spring 05 -completed Document presenters and projectors in every classroom
Fall 05- Spring 06 - completed Wireless laptop labs for classroom use
Fall 05- Spring 06 - completed Instructional laptop to work with the projectors for class instruction
Fall 06-Spring 08 - in progress Additional classroom tools in up to 40% of the classrooms
  • Classroom computers for student use
  • Software and other tools based on grade level, but may include:

    •           Digital cameras
              Graphing calculators
              Science probes
              Scanners
              Special Software
    On-line resources are available to students now. Students will see additional resources become available throughout the life of the levy. These resources can be found at: http://staff.edmonds.wednet.edu/imd/lms/onres.html
