Get Involved!
Over the course of the levy, there will be plenty of opportunities to join short term
focus groups to provide input for the levy implementation and curriculum integration. Information
about these groups will be posted on this website and be sent to staff via district e-mail.
District Task Forces
These teams meet for a limited amount of time to provide input to the Technology Advisory
Committee (TAC), as they refine the Levy plan. We seek input of a wide variety of staff that will
benefit from these plans. All meeting notes will be posted on the TAC website
along with any opportunities to join on-line forums.
Instructional Technology Implementation Task Force
Working as an expansion of TAC, this group will provide input in two main areas of the Levy implementation:
Student Tech Tools
Learn about new State standards for 8th graders
Examine our K-9 grade programs as they relate to these
Plan for meeting these Standards by 2007, as required by law
Instructional Tech Standards for Students
Examine Curriculum Frameworks for K-6, and for English, Math, Humanities, and Science at
Secondary to identify areas that could be best supported by technology
Recommend appropriate classroom tech tools for students grades K-12 classrooms

area for teacher involvement!
