Some of the new Hitachi projectors have had error messages pop up on them regarding cleaning the filters.

Here is the procedure for resetting the filter timer:

• Turn on the projector.
• While the projector is running, press the MENU button on your remote control to open the menu.
• Use the down arrow button on your remote control to scroll down to OPTION on the menu, then press the ENTER button.
• Choose FILTER TIME using the up and down arrow buttons, then press and hold the RESET button on the remote control for 3 seconds. After 3 seconds or so, a small Option window will appear.

In the Option window, choose the RESET using the up arrow button.

** The district is working with Hitachi to take care of this issue.
*** The district tech support person will be in charge of all filter cleaning for the Hitachi projectors on a yearly basis. Teachers will not need to worry about doing this on their own.
