Dear Colleagues:

 

ESD 189 developed a table which shows the extent to which the most recent legislative session has impacted area school districts.  When you open the table, take a look at the column on the far right side.  That is the total amount under funded per district that makes up most of the budget challenge each district is processing for next year.

 

We are still working on a number of ways to address our particular fiscal challenge for the 08-09 school year.  When we have the ideas/list more refined, we will certainly provide an opportunity for sharing of the information as well as suggestions.  Also, we will provide e-mail updates as we move forward. 

 

I know this can be difficult as the prospect and reality of any reductions impact us; still, we will figure out a way through this and we appreciate everyone’s efforts in all matters.
