Current Employment: I work for 47 Degrees North Marketing, which is a small film production team based in Bellevue.

Future Educational Goals: I plan on getting my associate's degree, and I will see what further formal education I need after that.

Future Career Goals: After I finish school, I plan on continuing my work with the "47" production team, as well as generally pursuing work in film, both as a writer and a director.

Anything else we should know? I show my deepest gratitude to my friends and family for supporting me in my career choices. I also would like to mention that the teachers at Edmonds Heights are just as much to thank for my success so far in my chosen field of film. Their support and encouragement to think for ourselves and strive for what we want is half the reason I am pursuing something I love today.

Athletics: I did gymnastics from when I was four years old to my freshmen year of high school; I have been on the EWHS Varsity Cheer team all four years of high school; Sophomore year I did track and tried pole vaulting for the first time and actually lettered but did not stick to the sport.

Honors: I am in the National Honors Society.

Awards: I made the NCA All-American Cheer Team in 2014 and 2016.

Community Service: I have been a part of the Sparkles/Unified Cheer Team at EWHS the past four years; I volunteered with Earth Corps this year on MLK Day; I have volunteered at the Edmonds 4th of July Parade the past three years.

Future Educational Goals: My goal is to go to the University of Washington.

Future Career Goals: Currently I have had some interest in medical and health services management.

Anything else we should know? I'm thinking about trying out for the UW Cheer Team if I am accepted into UW.

Clubs & Activities: My favorite things to do are drawing and building things. I like to do some drawing and I’m looking forward to writing a book. I like to draw because I feel like a great artist. It’s also calming while listening to music. I felt proud of myself because I like to draw some characters and feel inspired from the things I see. Sometimes I make my characters look like the ones from Adventure Time but a little different. I like to build things with both legos and K'nex. When I was a little kid I liked building things because it’s fun to make creations. I kept feeling from the things in my imagination. I decided to build creations because I felt amazed about what I built like starships and Mechs. I think both my hobbies are really fun. I guess I should keep doing these more often.

Honors: Student of the Month in 2017; Honors in 2014

Awards: I came to honors in my high school a few times,Year 2013-2014; academic achievement fall semester 2014-2015 and best sportsmanship 2015-2016 for team sports; I got a Certificate of Achievement from The Leadership Coalition for completing a leadership training in team-building, decision-making and collaborative teamwork August 1, 2016.

Community Service: I was given the opportunity to be a part of Goodwill Youth Aerospace Program last summer of 2016 till present. I engaged in a lot of volunteering experiences from this program. I was a volunteer at the Project homeless service, helped out Institute of flight gala, the big SGI glitter sale at Seattle Goodwill, Boys and Girls club - teaching little kids to fly drones and the most recent is the Martin Luther King, Jr. service.

Significant School Project: I worked really hard on the elections in Ms. Kriscovich's class with my group, and we did have a lot of fun.

Current Employment: Boeing Workforce Development training Feb.13, 2017-current

Future Educational Goals: I plan on attending college and go to the path of Aerospace and Advanced Manufacturing Training and Education Center (AMTEC).

Future Career Goals: I love communicating my ideas to people, through my creative drawings and building. I want to see myself becoming involved in the aerospace industry someday.

Anything else we should know? Even though I've been in school for 12 years, and even though it can be challenging, I will never give up learning more. So when I go to college or get a job I won't give up either. In my free time I like to make a comic book and maybe someday I can be a successful comic book writer.

I really appreciate for giving me the opportunity to be given this award. I am currently in the work force program.

Clubs & Activities: I am involved in Hi-Q, Tri-M and Band. Hi-Q is a Jeopardy like club where we compete against different schools. Our season goal is to make it to playoffs. Tri-M is a music honor society which is a voluntary program for music students. We organized a very successful food drive in November. I have played the Clarinet since 5th grade. The past two years I've had the privilege to play in the highest band, the Wind Ensemble.

ASB: I am the ASB Treasurer which is a part of the ASB executive board. I am currently enrolled in the Lynnwood Leadership class that organizes most ASB events.

Athletics: I run Cross Country in the Fall and then I play Tennis in the Spring. It's always a great day to be a Royal.

Honors: I am currently enrolled in three AP classes: AP Government and Politics, AP Biology and AP Calculus BC.

Awards: I received music student of the month for November 2016. I was the Everett Herald Athlete of the Week for my 2016 tennis season. I received 2016 AP scholar award.

Future Educational Goals: Next year I will be attending Boise State University and studying Pre-Law or Political Science. Go Broncos!!

Anything else we should know? I was born in Eritrea, a country located in East Africa and my father won a lottery visa for the family to migrate to America when I was seven years old. I’m going to live life to the fullest until I die.

Clubs & Activities: I have been a member of the Hawkeye, the award-winning student produced news source, since my freshman year. My sophomore year, I was promoted to Copy Editor and then later News Editor and now, this year, I am one of the two Editors-in-Chief. I am also the MTHS student adviser to the Edmonds School Board. I am a member of the MTHS National Honors Society and have been since my sophomore year. I was involved with a service youth group and FCCLA. Last year, I was also a member of TATU (Teens Against Tobacco Use), which involved me visiting local elementary schools in the Edmonds School District to share with the younger generation the dangers of consuming tobacco products.

ASB: I am a member of Link Crew and my junior year, I was involved with Interhigh, the intra-district student government.

Athletics: Last year, I was involved with Special Olympics Unified Sports as a volunteer. I was able to play basketball alongside those with both physical and mental disabilities. It was very eye-opening and I learned a lot about how to work alongside those with different abilities than I.

Significant School Project: I have worked with the Hawkeye to expand its reach on social media. I have also job shadowed with various crime reporters located around Washington state and I have worked with MLT News since my sophomore year. I have also worked with other student journalists across the U.S. to expand the Hawkeye's coverage on making global events more local (see the Hawkeye's coverage on DAPL).

Furthermore, I have helped the Hawkeye to organize the 2015 and 2016 Jam Sessions, the annual kick off to the Winter Sports Season, along with the 2016 sand 2017 Father-Daughter Ball, an annual dance aimed at elementary-age children and their parents, also with games and contests.

Current Employment: Intern with MLT News; Sales Clerk at Edmonds Value Village.

Future Educational Goals: I have been admitted into the University of Missouri School of journalism for the class of 2021. I want to major in journalism and possibly double-major in Political Science or Public Policy and minor in Spanish.

Future Career Goals: I want to go into a career as a journalist reporting on either crime, education or politics. I would love to work for a major news organizations such as the Washington Post or the Wall Street Journal.

Anything else we should know? These past four years at Terrace have taught me more than I could have ever hoped for. I'm beyond grateful for the opportunities provided to me, especially within the Hawkeye. The education I have received in my high school career will carry with me to college and beyond. Community Service: I have been keeping the area around my apartments clean and organising the toys and stuff that the kids leave outside for a few years now, I pick up the garbage left outside and clean the laundry rooms.

Current Employment: I don't have a job yet but I just got my ID and I’m applying.

Future Educational Goals: I plan on going to Edmonds Community College either next year or the year after so I can save money for it and after two years there I plan on transferring to a four-year college

Future Career Goals: I'm not 100 percent sure what I want to do yet but I’ve been thinking about becoming a dental hygienist.
