Pride Foundation Scholarship
Scholarships are available for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, or queer students of any age, students who have an LGBT parent or who are straight allies and are committed to civil rights for the LGBTQ community. No minimum GPA to apply.
Deadline: January 15
Primary consideration based on non-academic ouststanding achievement. Must be a citizen or legal resident; current high school seniors enrolling in 2- or 4-year college. Must demonstrate ambition and self-drive as evidenced by outstanding achievement in school, community, or work-related activities.
Deadline: December 15
Application open from January 6-February 24, 2014. Students will receive $1,000 for the first two years of college, and then apply to increase to $5,000 in their junior year. Must be enrolling in an eligible Washington State college or university and pursuing a major in science, technology, engineering or math(STEM)or health care. Minimum GPA: 2.75
Deadline: February 24
Must be attending a 4-year school majoring in math, science, engineering, technical science, or related field. Must have a minimum GPA of 3.0. Do not need to be of Asian heritage to apply.

Edmonds Lions Club Scholarship
Eligibility requirements: graduating senior of EWHS planning to attend a Washington State 2- or 4- year college or university. Although academic excellence will not be the overriding criteria, academic competence is necessary. Additional criteria include educational/future goals, extra-curricular activities, employment/volunteer activities, and more. Applications are available in the Career Center only!

Providence Regional Medical Center, Everett - High School Summer Volunteer Program - The Medical Center has an exciting summer volunteer opportunity for high school seniors. The 10-week program will take place from June 24 - August 29, 2014 and requires 60 hours of volunteer service. Interested sophomores, juniors, and seniors between the ages of 16-18 must contact Volunteer Services by phone at 425-261-4580 only during the month of January. After leaving your information with Volunteer Services, you will be sent application instructions.
