is a Field of Study Concentration? Field of Study concentrations
are 2.0 credit concentrations of courses where students develop
skills, understand concepts, and explore opportunities within an
area related to their interests and post-high school goals. These
concentrations provide the context for development of the student's
required Culminating Project, and must be completed sometime between
a student's 10th and 12th grade years. Within the Edmonds School
District, academic and Career and Technical Education Field of Study
concentration options are organized within five areas: Arts and
Communication; Business and Marketing; Engineering and Technology;
Health and Human Services; and Science and Natural Resources. Fields of Study are part of the High School and Beyond Plan.
