MTHS FRC Robotics Competition Results from World Competition
Congratulations to the MTHS FRC Robotics Team 1778 for their excellent performance at the FRC World Competition in Houston this past weekend.  The team competed alongside alliance partners from from Australia, Turkey, Mexico, China, and other parts of the US. They qualified for the Finals by finishing in 9th place and served as the Alliance Captain for 3 other Alliance teams. They competed successfully up to the Quarter Finals in the Hopper Division, losing there only by a very small margin in the 3rd and deciding match.
The students were wonderful, as were the mentors and parents who traveled in support of the the team.  Congratulations to a team that focuses on the right things... Gracious Professionalism, "Coopertition", and emphasizing the process of teamwork and high quality engineering as the means to success. They practiced these things all year long and have a solid foundation established for success in the future.
Also... congratulations to the graduating seniors of Team Team 1778 who served so well and learned so much over their four years of work with the team:  Elizabeth Jurgensen, Matt Trahms, Ian Davidson, Mira Shin, Nat Sutton, William Keeling, Angeline Cartwright, Riley Gerow, Austin Head and Mitch Campbell.
