Program Overview

Our school was founded by Sam Gladstein who believed that all students should have an opportunity to be successful in school. His dream of offering online education to the students of the Edmonds School District was fully realized in 2007.  Since that time, the Edmonds eLearning program has evolved into a comprehensive high school with approximately 100 full time students and over 600 students served each school year.

The Edmonds eLearning Academy now has the distinction of being one of the top 10 ALE programs in the state of Washington.  Our student population is diverse and take courses for a variety of reasons.  Edmonds School District students can take one course or as many as six.  These courses are free when part of their six period school day. We customize each students schedule and provide an on-site lab staffed by our highly qualified teachers to help our students meet their learning goals.
