Replacement Technology/Capital Levy Information |
Dear Colleagues,
We need you to embrace an important role you have in communicating information about the District’s Replacement Technology/Capital Levy. People will ask you about the levy based on your connection with the school district. Please take these opportunities to help others understand more about this important matter for our district, schools, and community.
Here are some key points:
· This is a replacement levy, and not a new tax;
· Voters are projected to continue paying what they pay now or less for their overall school tax rate with passage of this measure;
· This locally-approved levy provides needed technology tools in the classroom. The state does not fund technology and local support is needed; and

Ballots will begin arriving in homes about Jan. 26. They must be returned by Feb. 14. Take this time to share what you know and experience each day in our schools and programs and the role current, up-to-date technology plays in the education of our students and in the operations of our District. Thank you for helping to share information with others about this important election in our district.
